Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed plans to hold his white wedding ceremony with his wife, Chioma, in August in Miami, USA.
In an interview on The Breakfast Club, Davido confirmed the upcoming event, saying,
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami in August. Our traditional marriage shut down Nigeria because our relationship was in the public eye, and a lot has happened, apart from losing our child.”
The announcement comes 10 months after their lavish traditional wedding, held in June 2024 at Eko Hotels in Lagos, which was attended by top celebrities.
During the interview, Davido opened up about the strength of their relationship, including the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi, in 2022.
The upcoming white wedding is expected to be a grand celebration, drawing global celebrities and fans to what promises to be a memorable event.
